Sony is pleased to announce the introduction of the world’s first* optional Ultra Short Throw lens for 3LCD projectors, the VPLL-3003. This new ultra-short throw lens is designed to be used with Sony’s VPLFHZ57, VPL-FHZ6x and VPLFH6x series of projectors. The VPLL-3003 has a throw ratio of 0.33:1, and when combined with the compatible projectors, a large vibrant image can be obtained with minimal throw distance (example : 150” diagonal image from just 41” projection distance).
The VPLL-3003 has an advanced optical design including a large high performance mirror. This enables a sharp uniform focused image to be obtained .The VPLL 3003 is a powered focus lens that has both center and edge focus for precise adjustment. It also has both +/- 5% horizontal and +/- 5%vertical lens shift for precise image alignment.
• Large sharp Images with minimal throw distance – A 100” diagonal image with just 31.7” throw distance. Image size can be from 80” to 300”.
