Fortunately for me, I found Eastporters.com

Having decided to turn my basement into an old-fashioned theater-type room, I knew I was going to spend a lot of money to make the room just right. Fortunately for me, I found Eastporters.com. In talking to the gentleman on the phone, I outlined exactly what I wanted to do with my room, and he patiently explained all of the different projector related options I had for my purchase. I purchased the projector, ceiling mount, screen as well as cables from them.

On top of the fabulous prices that they already had, I also got a bunch of discounts for bundling all of the projector and items together, and some extra savings on top of that because I was purchasing 15 cables in total. The home theater room is finally complete, and I’m happy to report that Eastporters did their part in making the projector & projector accessory purchase a breeze! I’m always happy to tell all my visiting friends about the excellent quality, price and service they have.

Home Theatre/Office in my basement

Well, after just over 2 months of slaving away at this place, I’ve gotten a semi-completed, but completely usable Home Theatre/Office in my basement. Before my wife and I began the project we had a completely unfinished basement. Nearly everything is complete with the exception of the bar area (waiting on cabinets), our bathroom, and trim/baseboards/door hardware. Otherwise its pretty much complete. So that’s the basic break down of what I’ve got going on right now. I’ve taken some pictures to show everyone, with the exception of my components/rack. Oh yea and excuse the white patch jobs on the walls, still working on some final touches on the drywall.

I found them to be knowledgeable, responsive and to the point

I have quite a bit of experience with projection home theaters, as this is my third venture into a home theater room creation. After moving to my new house, the first order of business was to install a home theater in my basement. I have to be honest that, while cost definitely was a concern, I was going to do whatever it took to make the room into my perfect home theater room. With that in mind, the only reason I went to Eastporters is because one of my friends purchased the EluneVision Reference Studio fixed-frame screen from them, and it actually seemed to produce a much better than the expensive Draper fixed-frame screen I had in my previous home. I was completely blown away that a screen of this caliber cost so little.

If it wasn’t for my friend, I would have just assumed EluneVision screens were the same low quality, high texture, high hotspotting screens that Elite, Grandview and Carada pump out. In talking on the phone with Eastporters, I found them to be knowledgeable, responsive and to the point. When I ordered my screen, it was shipped out the next day, and I received it two days later. I would definitely buy from these guys again. Again, these Reference screens are a steal!

I always felt like they were invested in my theatre as much as I was

When I began to research for my first screen I saw many ideas and principles shared by the majority of manufactures, i.e.: quality materials, build level, ease of use, customer support, and big dollars. Then I found Eastporters. The staff was knowledgeable, always helpful, quick to respond, and I always felt like they were invested in my theatre as much as I was. Build quality was fantastic, customer support was light years above others, and the price made a dream possible. I have referred many people to Eastporters. I have seen them stand behind their product, while consistently support a new owner when and if anything needs to be done. Their R&D is exciting and stirs new options for the average owner. This is an expensive passion, and for many the price tags prevent a dream. Thank you, Eastporters.

First class from first phone call to long after you’ve made your purchase

I was a first-time projection home theater buyer, and after doing extended research I found Eastporters, by far, has the best bundles and pricing as far as projector theaters are concerned. I called Eastporters, and discussed my situation for about 20 minutes. I have to commend the staff for not pressuring me to make the purchase until I was ready, as a few other e-stores tried to do. With their help, I decided to go with a Sony projector and a tab-tension screen. Given that we wanted the room to be a non-dedicated room, my wife and I spent a few weekends to install, spruce up and decorate. Eastporters was extremely helpful with setup questions we had after the initial purchase. I referred a couple of my friends to them, and I would definitely recommend you do business with this company. First class from first phone call to long after you’ve made your purchase!

Very helpful in picking the right screen for my setup

I purchased the EluneVision Reference Studio screen from Dave/Milosh over at “Eastporters” out of Hamilton, Ontario . As many have concluded, they were very helpful in picking the right screen for my setup. I recommend their products highly.

Detail wise, this screen is advertised as having a better surface for 1080P (smaller) pixels. I found this to be true and have attached some images to try and show this. The flat surface of this screen shows the projectors pixel structure very clearly and I would thus agree it is giving a better screen definition of edging and detail. This is a great match now for the Panny along with my Yamaha RX-A3000 Video processor tweaks. Blue-ray detail look incredible let alone HDTV.

This was a perfect addition to my home theatre. I would recommend those of you with similar AE4000 hardware, or the like, to consider this Reference 100 screen material. I know you won’t be disappointed.
